At 1017 Sqn we pride ourselves on a high standard of drill. In fact, our very own FS Cole was once an RAF drill instructor at RAF Halton. Each year our cadets will perform drill publicly at such events as Remembrance Sunday in Malvern and Armed Forces day, to name but two. The video below shows just what can be achieved with half of the squadron having only joined six weeks prior.

Part of life is the ability to work as a team and follow orders.  Drill is the perfect embodiment of this and takes real skill and dedication.  There's no better feeling than learning a new skill and mastering it.  Practice makes perfect, but only if you practice perfectly.
