Join as a Cadet

We accept new recruits from 12 (must be in year 8) up to 16 year olds.

There are many opportunities within the Air Cadets these amazing experiences include, flying, shooting, drill and expeditions. 

The benefits of being a Cadet are endless these include:
-Courage
-Respect
-Self Discipline 
-Integrity 

You will get to prove what you are capable of, while expanding your skills, talents and pushing your limits. Manners are also highly important and a useful life skill honed by being in the Cadets.

Cadets will also help you take pride in your uniform, and you will develop skills to take care of your own uniform. 

How To Join As A Cadet

To join as a cadet just get your parent/guardian to fill out our contact details below and the squadron will get back to you. After you have had a look around (normally at an open evening) and decided you want to join with the Air Cadets, you will start out as a recruit and make your way through the ranks of the Air Training Corps, gaining countless experiences along the way.

Next Open Evening - Thursday 14 March 24

The evening starts at 7.15pm at the squadron.  Prospective cadets will enjoy a taster session where they will get to take part in some of the things we do.  Parents will receive a presentation from the Officer Commanding Sqn on all of the details a parent would need to know.  We expect to end around 9pm.
